Papa...

by Roxy   Jan 26, 2008

Staring out my window, Looking up into the velvet sky.
Raindrops running down the glass,Rainclouds slowly cry.
A sparkling tear glistens on my cheek as my finger tips trace the rain;
Continously falling on the blood coloured window pane.

My head is facing downwards and a frown lays on my face.
Flashbacks of when you walked out the door, vanished without a trace.
Glancing at the never-ending road, cars chase the yellow lines.
This is when I turn away and close the cream curtain blinds.

Walking down this hall way, hair covering my dark, mystical eyes.
Hiding all my personal thoughts and all the non forgettable lies.
I collapse onto my knees, blood is falling from my palms.
Still wishing that I was with you, there, in your welcoming arms.

Screaming out your name, papa,I miss your laughter and smile.
Crawling towards the door,I hear your voice "heaven is just another mile"
My fingers spread out wide,my hand reaches out for yours to hold.
Then it swings shut,I'm closed in,trapped and so very cold.
Curled up tightly in the corner,I beggin to whisper your name.
Papa, Without you nothing will ever be the same...

A beautiful, heartbreaking story, well woven and biting to the end. A painful moment caught perfectly in time.
