Crystal Shards

Lightless cloud vacillates
over a crystal heart
assorted feelings in debate
dazed where to start
once danced in hazel eyes
the smile on your lips
intruders invade milky thighs
dirty hands on wide hips
lost souls once connected
life was pure bliss
dark strangers song infected
you tossed me into the abyss
sounds of relentless thunder
pound against my chest
crystal heart torn asunder
shards sleep in my breast

    An incredibly heart-breaking piece. Raw emotion oozed out of every (very well written) line. Again, your vocabulary is excellent, and thought provoking. The last line is amazing: abrupt, sincere, ... so much held in these words.
