Road Of Lonelieness.

by ABake   Feb 2, 2008

Walking down the sidewalk with a heart broke in two,
Yelling at the reflection of us "it's all because of you"
The reflection soon fades as I start to fall face first;
You've always been the water to quench my thirst...

Wondering how it got so bad, why I got left behind-
I won't lie, I am hurt, sweetie your love is one of a kind,
Our puzzle is now broken, ripped apart piece by piece;
Being with you is my haven, the only sense of relief...

Wishing you were here right now, but I'm walking alone;
Your arms holding me was perfection, with you I flown,
We are now a wrecked plane, no way can we survive-
I may be walking but my body is numb, am I alive?

Everything happens for a reason, sweetie why us?
You walking out on me surprised me like a strong gust...
Every night I dream you will come back to me-
Seems I'm walking down this road as lonely as can be.

    Wow so easy for me to relate with this .. I felt as if I was walking that lonely road side by side with you. The way you described what his love meant to you and how it feels not to have it anymore was flawlessly unique.

    "You've always been the water to quench my thirst..."
    ^ahh I just loved that line. It was the perfect description.

    Well done *5/5*
