Winter's Here (Sedoka)

Winter came today,
Bringing soft white flakes of snow,
Freezing frost dubbed the name Hawk.

Snow angel children,
Laughing with runny noses,
Screaming," winter's here today"!

The Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of two three-line katauta with the following syllable counts: 5/7/7 and 5/7/7. A sedoka, pair of katauta, as a single poem, may address the same subject from different perspectives.
