Little girl,
why are you feeling down...
I've only lived for thirteen years,
but I've been through so very much...
Underneath her mask
lies something un-revealed...
Jaded teardrops linger in my eyes,
they're barren, yet longing to be shed...
I'll tell you a story about my life,
or should I say despair...
I slowly walk through a vacant wasteland,
all that was beautiful is far from sight...
I lie in the park, at the old, breaking bench,
my eyes are burning as my teeth slowly clench...
Dear Jenny,
I am writing you this letter...
Dear Diary,
the weirdest thing happened today...
I am sitting here writing this poem
shocked by what I just read...
The day you left me,
was the day I felt true pain...
Alone in this darkened place,
cold, so cold, I shiver...
