As my knees become sore...

Do you hear the sound
Of her heart breaking...

There have been many things
In my life that I've learned...

I wish I could see;
Smart, compassionate, nice...

She never has the time
To slow down and take a break...

I always thought
you were my best friend...

It's testing my courage
seeing if I will fail...

I use to be a writer
a painter, a muse...

The blade calls her
it says you can depend on me...
