    I Never Meant To Cower

    Speaking to my heart
I dream to feel your touch
    Feeble minded worshippers
    aren't around all that much

They've set their goals and dreams
to hold me closely every night
    But none seem to compare
to the one who holds me right

    Forget the devils whispering
    remember what we know
For, I can't live another day
    without our love to show

    Hidden from the deepest minds
    I never meant to cower
but society has this hold on me
    that's draining all my power

Bliss - Life Is A Dance

The music of life is the sound of your heart.
    Ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum.
I hum to the tune as I lean on your chest,
Hearts beating as one, a harmony.

Life is the dance your music was made for.
We dance together in our part of forever.
We don't know the steps, or how it should end.
But we don't mind, happiness has arrived.

This is what I call, bliss.

Your memories are the costumes of the dancers.
Flowing colour in every corner of my mind.
I close my eyes and your face is there,
Etched so delicately into my memory.

And you, my love, are the lights in the room,
Glorious sunshine pouring through the window.
The heat on my skin, just as you are now,
    Wrapping your arms around me.

Keeping me warm, keeping me safe,
This is what we were made for.

    Each other.

And this is how we stay.

    Forever.

    Servility of Love

Your voice makes me smile; so sanguine.
With the Euphoric joy I take in from you.
I cant explain how I feel.
    Its so profound.
Its like the warm gentle breeze in the summer morning.
Like the calm but majestic wave of the ocean.
I'm chained to this servility of Love.
    You pull out my faith.
    you bring about my candor.
You reveal my soul upon the world.
Your world clashes with mine with thoughts,
    With feelings so incisive.
I see the world with much to be disdained.
Then I see you with truism of hope.
    I'm with you,
And our lives; Our Love shall be transcendent.
    Forever.

    Dear You; Sincerely Me

    Dear You;

    I've been down and back on this battered old road;
I don't want to go back down there again,
I've lost my pride and my courage,
Even when I saw the dangers I would encounter,
I kept walking, risking the walk and the fall.

Here I am again, crying in the same old bedroom,
I've felt lost in for years on end,
I've cried so hard and my words speak to the air,
Yet my bed is the only thing that listens,
Comforting is long gone, pain is here now.

My body is long pass warranty,
For the suns it has seen rise, and the moon fall,
For sixteen years, its been dreaming,
Of a homecoming to a new place,
    A new face.

    I dwell upon the past,
Playing different scenario's in my head,
If I played a different one, would've he stayed,
    Where would I be today,
If only I took a different road to today.

I'm dying inside, my heart is barely beating,
Waiting and hoping to see the next day rise with the sun,
And the next moon be born into the night,
Wondering if the day will set and fall,
    Just for me.

I look into a mirror and see a girl,
Beaten and abused to the point where,
She no longer stands proudly as she once did,
But may I ask you a question before I go,
Do you see how broken I am inside?

    Sincerely,
    Me

    Yesterday Is Dead

    by NyellMoonlight

    Masterpiece of affliction wounds imagination,
vendetta speaks for itself all over again,
as if I'm a victim of thy horrid usurpation,
clinging to the words you'd never say,
writing the hell away to some distant constellation.

    Yesterday is dead- drowned
    along with your senseless mind-games,
    pathetic hemorrhage of wordplays,
prematurely buried with the heart's flames.

You're the best definition of a hallucination-
    brainwash, suicidal in it's glorification.
I'd rather plead for solemn salvation,
immunity to the touches of thy thorns and petals,
yet the soul succumbs to sordid infatuation.

I'm guessing we're allowed to post another poem?

    This is "My Heart"

Beaming a smile across your way,
When the sun shines each day,
It's just my little way of saying
    *I love you*

When those kisses show real trust,
Letting you go when I must,
I'm still there, at your side, saying
    *I love you*

Meeting your exes is so hard,
You laughing and joking with no regard,
To how hard it is getting for me to keep saying
    *I love you*

I knew that it is going to end,
I keep hoping my heart will mend,
I hope I will keep saying,
    *I love you*

"Let's now leave the best behind us,
    Don't turn back, don't make a fuss"
They weren't my words, but I can't keep saying
    *I love you*

    You'd Never Start My Fire

    by NyellMoonlight

Beseech tainted senses to start bleeding again
because I tasted death and brittle deities, already
fought with clouds formed to represent sentinels
somewhere behind eyelids of all those broken auras.

She took one life away tonight- Music flies, whispering
over fields soaked with liquefied, sapphire imagination.
I had it all within one lucid, cerulean second-
there's some shattered light hanged behind the window.

Epicenter of the divinity revolves around catastrophes
    - you'd never start my fire, indeed,
    yet- dabbled emotions spill honey disasters over thoughts;
Beseech my tainted senses, implore silent tears.

    Stupid Me

    by Spirit

    I'm stupid, completely and utterly
thought I knew what I was getting into
You warned me but I wouldn't listen,
and least of all to you

I've never felt so blind, so ignorant,
so unworthy of a second chance
never before have I longed for one
but when stuck in a rut one can't advance

    I wanted something I couldn't have
    the glamor, and the shine
    I entirely failed to notice
    how you were already mine

*thanks for the chance, and hope you like it.

    Finger Painting

Kneeling on a brown stool, slouching slightly,
Apple red curls bouncing off her blue dress.
Deep green eyes jaunty, a heart so genial,
Her tiny hands gingerly painting a masterpiece.

Two fingers orange, three fingers purple,
Creating divergent lines on cream paper.
Glancing up to catch her teacher's eye,
She receives a heartfelt smile of wonder.

More fingers swim gleefully in the rainbow sea,
Then find their way hastily back to dry land.
Adding elaborate patterns one by one,
Paint splashing and veering left and right.

A lively laugh echoes through the classroom,
Enlightening every ear that happens to hear it.
For nothing could measure the amount of fun,
She was experiencing through finger painting.

Hands sticky, and face smeared with green paint,
A satisfied sigh escapes from her shining lips.
Wishing for the clock to just sit and stop,
But alas, good times must come to an end.

"A job well done," her teacher calls out,
    "What exuberant colors and creativity!"
The little girl's heart soars many feet above,
As she leaves her table, her head up high.

Xx The Fall Of Humpty Dumpty xX

    Everyone knows the nursery rhyme
Of Humpty Dumpty and his wall
But one thing just doesn't make sense
    Why would he suddenly fall?

You see, old Humpty had good balance
It was a very well known fact
He used to be a tight rope walker
And he never fell off that

There's no way he could have fell
Not even with a windy gust
    There's only one explanation
    Humpty Dumpty was obviously pushed!

Xx In the nightside of Eden xX

The clouds are gathering, marring the moon
Which glows in full, illuminating the room
He sits in the corner, clutching onto his chair
Feeling the bristles of his fast growing hair

A sharp sudden jolt makes his body jerk
As the moonlight shines, things go berserk
He lets out an agonized, blood curdling howl
That soon transforms into a blood thirsty growl

The chair is knocked over and broken in two
With a furious snarl, he smashes it through,
The window not caring if anyone hears
The werewolves arrived, it's what everyone fears

His matted fur is tangled and stained
With the blood of his victims he's already gained
Yellow teeth gleam in the misty moonlight
This time of the month is the werewolves night

His hungry black eyes darting out of control
This is the result of selling your soul
Nobody is safe whilst the moon is still full
In the night side of Eden, is the human race cull

    Xx Thorned Beauty xX

Red velvet petals, soft to the touch
Never has one rose inspired so much
A scent so calming, beautiful and true
Enriched by the sparkling diamonds of dew

Yet underneath the gentle exterior waits
A warrior protecting these heavenly gates
Sharp thorns run up this slim stem of green
Proving not everything is as it seems

This thorned beauty teaches a lesson, take heed
How something so gorgeous evolves from a seed
Standing so tall, so delicate yet strong
Standing for love, for whats right and wrong

Rich ruby reds, glistening with tears
A fragile masterpiece, matured over years
Beauty and strength come together as one
Inspiring more hearts as this life goes on

    Synchronized dance

    Wings Of Glory

As I rest my head down wearily,
And my eyelids begin to close,
Your ongoing love shields me nearly,
Safe in your protection I dose.

My guardian angel forever beside me,
Extending your golden wings where I lay,
Like a comforting blanket no one can see,
Just like the whispering wind in May.

If someone asked to take a glance,
    I couldn't prove a thing to them,
    Not even your signature stance,
Or distinguish if you're a her or him.

People can think my mind's gone insane,
That it is a stage someday I'll get past,
But my rock hard faith I will always sustain,
And your determination will fully last.

    Nails In Hand~Quatern

Jesus knew what He had to do,
To open the gates of Heaven.
    Crucified on a wooden cross,
    Enduring the harsh suffering.

He was whipped and stripped brutally,
Jesus knew what He had to do.
    Soldiers mocked His glorious name,
They spat on the face of Our Lord.

Yet not once did Christ turn around,
But instead took and lived with pain.
Jesus knew what He had to do,
To save us from our sinful fate.

A crown of thorns, piercing His head,
As nails were hammered in His flesh.
Angels from above mourned and weeped,
Jesus knew what He had to do.

    -----------------------------------------------

    Quatern~

A quatern has four stanzas, each stanza has four lines. Every line has eight syllables only. It doesn't have to rhyme, but it does follow a specific pattern of line repetition. The first stanza's first line is repeated as the second stanza's second line, the third stanza's third, and the final stanza's fourth.

    Unborn

    by NyellMoonlight

I paint this sorrow to match your eyes
filled with emerald dew of the words unspoken-
unborn promises die on bloody lips,
left to burn within single crystal tear.

    I'm probably mistaken, so fragile,
succumbing to the fantasies of broken glass-
    unborn ambiguity shatters frail heart,
a crate filled with rubies of your sentences.

    Teary words moisten bruised skin,
holding frantic mind beneath the ardent skies-
unborn poetry clings to open wounds,
planting seeds of vacancy within every sigh.

    Empathetic Hemorrhage

    by DarkSpirit

    Antagonism towards quotidian eyes intumesces with blood;
    behind denials of monochrome imperia
lays the fact that we can absolutely alter surface of the wind,
by rotating switchers inside of us.

    Darkness frees from the loneliness,
rising parallel with the underground of infinite.

Two of them are everything to me,
    Sun and the Earth,
they recast on the boundary of eldritch,
    never into one,
but both embed the wildest dreams into my faith.

Imagination pulsates, immerged into the song of the Umbra
which glided down from her lips.
    Carbon dioxide, which she produces,
    is my other home,
and her eyes always stare directly into mine, mercilessly.
    She is my eternal lover,
and each of our kisses is my next poem.

She is rotating all switchers inside of me.

    From her lips blood gushes
when she dives through my arteries,
    and specific empathy defines
    sky and the earth,
when she opens me and, from my confessions
    and sketches of different welkins,
creates text for the song of the Umbra.

    Then she sympathize
    with my genius darkness,
which she frees when we are alone.

Death is the only enigma bigger than the life,
and she is the only enigma bigger than the death.

    We are not cliche.
    When our tongues merge
    I create,
    die,
and only then I am truly alive.

Stone Pillows of Our Czar Reindeer

    by DarkSpirit

Injustice takes a photo of the world,
unfolding pictures of her sadistic children
    which run between the lines;
still, those are progenies of our Czar Reindeer,
of the one who lead us all, through this clough,
    and his wife,
who weaved silky cloak to this planet.

    You have whole moon,
    can I, at least, get
    one crumbled sparkle
    to waste it on desponding
above illusions which are parasites of naivety,
changing it into slave bought with loomed sacredness?

    Satellites recorded depths of Earth,
    against which walk we,
    endemic and masochistic;
    satellites emit
lacerated viscera of slashed giant panda,
against which we, consequences of provoked atoms,
are riding suicidal drive on back of Czar Reindeer.

So put a head on stone pillow,
    and swallow a pill,
let golden production do its job,
after surgery you will feel almost
like you have right to breathe oxygen
with the rest of clones and clowns
    with personality disorder,
    which, blankly, smile
    posing to Injustice.

    Anticlimactic
    by Melpomene

    I awoke,
    to the presence
    of a ghost.
    "Darling don't go."
    -You incinerate me.
    How can something
    so beautiful
    haunt my soul.
    Anticlimactic.
    "Darling don't leave."
    I can't breathe.
    -Goodbye.

    Another nightmare,
    Where could you be?
    as we fade into
    eternity, someone
    in the world lies.
    "Forevers not so bad"
    -I promise.
    You held my life
    in you're palm
    and yet you lost yours.
    Pathetic, the way
    revolving doors swing.

    "Darling don't go"
    Every time I wake
    you expire into the
    nothingness you came.
    Sometimes life seems
    pointless; Tiring.
    "Darling don't leave"
    I can't breathe.
    Goodbye.

    -I miss you.

    Somebody help us
    Give us some assist
Don't listen to what we say
    Do stop if we resist

    Aid us with your ears
    Protect us with your prayer
    Show us how with silence
Don't let us know you care

    Try to keep us safe
    Know when you should speak
    Don't worry about our response
    Know which promises to keep

We are those who hate themselves
    We are the pressured ones
We are the children full of doubt
We're your daughters; we're your sons

    STOP IT
    by Spirit

Stop it, stop it I say,
why do you two still fight?
    What's happened to eternal love
or did that also slip your sight

It's your fault I act like this
    always alone and scared
and now that my little brother's born
    Parenthood? I'm not prepared.

    What? Don't you understand?
    That every time you yell
I grab him and run out the door
    our life's a living hell.

    I'd runaway, but I can't leave him
    alone with all your lies
Still I can not take him
So I'll hold him while he cries.

This isn't my job, I'm too young for this
    What happened to my dreams
    now my life's falling apart,
    I'm tearing at my seams.

At night while he sleeps in my room,
and you both have settled down
I sit down in the shower
the water pounds me in the ground.

    I cry, and I cry
    wishing life was better.
Still I'm sitting by my self,
    in this shower, getting wetter.

    If only life was simple
If only you two wouldn't fight
    If only you both knew,
What I go through every night.

Win Me Again With That Smile

Come, sweep me off my feet
With that smile so bitterly sweet.
    Fix this restless heartbeat:
Again, once more, where shall we meet?

    Black shadows under eyes,
    The curious looks you despise.
    Seeing through my disguise,
I cannot tell any more lies.

Please, I want to end this,
But there are things that I will miss:
    Intoxicating kiss.
    Bound to forever reminisce.

    Avoid the tears I'll cry,
Here, take my hand, and we can fly.
    Dodge the looming goodbye.
Let our broken hearts soar too high.

    I could walk life alone:
No, you will always be my own.
But to stay on this throne
Means these heart strings will be unknown.

    Giving reasons like trial,
    Attempts to forget aren't worthwhile.
    You know I'm versatile,
So, win me again with that smile.

    Laughter of an Angle

    His tongue has sturdy bumps
    On from which they descend
    Souring high and cracking
    Up unto the very end

    Echoing across the hall
Like rapid music to the ears
Yet when he holds me tight
    Soothing heartbreak it appears

    Crackling as a candle flame
    Clashing as romantic seas
    Sunset with all its glory
    With his laughter disappears.

    Abstract Boulevard
    by Silhouette fairy

    Running down this wild track
    twisting, turning, up and down
not know how to get out
    i stop.
    looking about me
    surrounded by light
    feeling no warmth
    falling from the sky
    like ash from a fire
    the touch, cold.
    again i move
    not knowing the way
    following the petals
    where they lead,
    i will never know
    trusting instinct i turn
    leaving the path
    through the trees
    walking across roots
    they reach out
    like little hands
    grasping nothing
    but then inward they turn
    the end very low
    i follow deep underground
    slowly things go dark
    then bright again
    and now in a meadow
    touching the wild grasses
    i reach out
    like the roots once did
    then sitting i wait
    waiting for you to come
    and come you must
    for you wished it so.

    Imagination's Flight
    by Silhouette fairy

    Confused and bewildered
    out comes a whimper,
    not loud and shrill,
    but a cry against will.
up the path follows the dog
    only to reveal the log
    upon which he sits
    spitting out pits
    of the passion fruit
finally the bug hits the suit
    he fans him in dismay
and rests his head in a way,
a way that no contortionists can.
almost as if there's a third man
    but no,
    he is alone
    even if the bull frog
that was once on the log
    was there
well they'd be an odd pair
for that image would be so grand,
to see that man rest his hand
    upon that frog
oh and shall we forget the dog
    the dog which found him
but what is it with them
    for none are real
    no heart to feel
    all just an imagination's sight
    to watch take flight.
    oh yes, somewhere the dog
    will find this frog
    and that day
    the man just may
rest his hand on that head.
