Which Poetry Club

Which poetry clubs are active and have good natured members? I'm looking to find an active group that i can rrc with, but also one in which i will enjoy the company. Thanks,

I'm not speaking on behalf of Phoenix Rising but I will tell you that we are very much active! By the way we frecking rule! XD

So far by the number of responses, it seems the club is the most active (at least in this thread). Thanks for the good info. I'm going to see if i get any more feedback before I decide which i want to look into. Again thanks!

We're just nosy in the forums and like talking about ourselves. There are probably other clubs who write more actual poetry. : )

I'll be the first to admit Sibs is more soft and supple than me.

All the clubs mentioned above are the most active.

I'm part of Moonlight Muses, we are quite the active bunch. We mix poetry with fun and friendship? Wow I sound like i'm baking cookies.. yuck.

Any of the clubs that have been mentioned are a good choice.

Phoneix Rising, active, contests, forms challenges, daily chats, but due to Manager's recovery from an illness is not taking on any new members currently.

Like The Flowing River - from what Nana has told me this is strictly for poetry, comments, critiquing, writing etc.

^^ya and they strictly focus on the opposite :P

People keep changing clubs all the time..I am sorry that you feel you no longer belong, Debby...It is still Luanne's club!

RTVW is dead and that was my club! It has nothing to do with feelings of not belonging...

It is now split between Midnight Musings and Fragments of Poetry...two separate clubs that are not RTVW...I have friends in each club...

Heck, I'm even sad about RTVW ending. I know the good reasons behind it, but it's like the end of an era! I hate change.

What were the good reasons behind RTVW dying?

Too many voices being released?

I also understand many members wanted to turn over a new leaf by closing RTVW and starting up new club(s) but it is sad. Big changes are often very sad and difficult to accept but the only way from here is up.
You'll all adjust and find the good in how things have turned out, I guarantee.

But...what happened? Oh, what made your leaves fade to old?

Lol Bob....I've belonged to that club since age 18...sometimes not all it's cracked up to be...Barry and I will enjoy old age sans babies thanks!
