It's good to see the points are continuing to be posted.

Thanks Nana for clearing up that time constraint wasn't the issue, I think we all ended up with some wires crossed here and there (Jane and I for example seem sleep deprived). Your point about how it is actually less time to post points was something I stated in the mod room and the main reason I couldn't understand time constraint being an issue.

What it came down to in the end was a suggestion made to try and stop any confusion and as it would be in any case some agreed some disagreed. Hopefully everyone is satisfied with the decision to continue posting points.

As for judging, Kay I can honestly tell you we don't have any sort of popularity contest going. The list in the mod room as Jane stated is random and we try and allow those who haven't judged to get a go first. With all the drop offs this term we've been quickly going down our list and I'm sure everyone who is on it will have a turn of judging by the end of the year.

When I first read the points given to every poem and how Her Poem wasn't a winner and how Liz shuld have had it on the front page instead, I was like 'DUH'. I don't think it is a phantom in the system. Because, and I don't remember exactly when, there happened an error and everyone was able to vote, sometime in the past, right? I just have that feeling that it is this thing again. Someone is voting for poems, other than the judges, and since no mod would do it unless a tie is needed then it is for sure one of the members! The regular members.

I don't know if someone said that before me, I just wanted to point it out.

I would think that someone would have said something to someone if everyone had the little judging buttons. Even if it's a "hey weird, I have this" to someone.

Yeah, that's true, but again, where do those votes come from?

This leads us to think that... mods wouldn't vote at random, would they? lol.

No, I highly doubt they would lol. I don't know what happened, I think it's just a messed up glitch that we have to wait for Janis to pop up again to fix :/

The mods had wondered whether unintended members had been given the vote, but even if that is so, it arose when Janis reset the judges' weekly vote so it is still tied in.

We had Janis reset judges' vote each Monday so they can now cast a vote for the same poem two weeks in a row.
