Ingrid : for the kindness she has, the image of an ever loving mother

Helleon: for being the best and coolest grandma the most hip
And for being really understanding And giving the best and honest of advice

And last Larry : brother! U have no idea how much I become inspire to follow in your footsteps, u keep a hand for all of us and you listen and give the very best f advie without judging
I respect u the most don and I would vote for you to Become president any day

Larry, he is honest, truthful, wise, serious when he should be, and very straightforward. Funny and would say the truth to your face without coat sugaring it.
We get along together..

Mel, she is friendly, and really mature. I love the way she treats people and how she is so freaking friendly.

Maple tree, she's a nice, strong, warm, loving person. And I admire her a lot.

Sibby.

She always brings a touch of class to unclassy conversations.

Having to choose someone older than me, Lu and Kay are instantly the first people that come to mind. Beautiful people inside and out. Helped me through a lot with their wisdom and stubbornness, haha!

I'll never forget the role model I had on here years ago. Her name was Eirisa. She was from Australia. Her story was incredible, she had been through so much and ended up doing so well and got her life on track, I miss her dearly we were so close.

I look up to, and admire so many of you older folks on this site like no other. I appreciate wiser people who have been through a lot, learned a lot, and have advice to give :)

I look up to Abby as my worldly, soulful, absurdly cool older sister.

I look up to Kevin as if he's a history professor that I have a secret crush on. I want him to think I'm clever.

Jane is younger than me, but I look up to her, because she's idealistic where I am sometimes cynical. She sees the best in people and is wildly forgiving.

I look up to Jane, Karla, and Noura because of their writing styles.

I look up to Larry and Ingrid for their worldly knowledge and their ability to share wisdom.

I look up to the members that I know who currently reside in countries that don't share the luxuries that I do here in Canada. I can't imagine how difficult it can be at times and I respect the vigor that keeps them going.

I look up to Sibs. I'm envious of the head she has on her shoulders. Plus she's just so gosh darn lovable!

I look up to my Club mates because even though I've not met one of them, they're all fantastic and we treat each other like family there.

I know I'm going to get teary eyed and chummy, but I'll come back later with names/reasons.

Meanwhile, I'm surprised to find my name listed in this thread. The only people outside PnQ who look up to me are under 12. So thanks for that.

Sir Larry, I look up to you because you're one of those who could make me feel like I still have a family. (Sorry if I sound like a mourning ole lady on the forums, I just cannot help it) and yes, because you always listen to me when I nag and complain. And because you think I am your second best daughter after Nana, right? ...right? And I painted you, didn't have the chance to show it to you. I'm not home. If only someone could reach my laptop now and upload it on FaceBook.

Nana, because you inspire me to relax. Your posts, poetry, comments, convos and the way you type them inspire me to relax. (I wanted to add 'calls' but we haven't talked through the phone in a lllooong time).

Jordan, you're to me something that combines a gentleman and a dark, sensual poet in one (awesome) body.

Yakari, your harsh honesty is the best gift a friend could ever have. Plus...you're incredibly funny.

Rab, you endure lots of unbearable stuff, you know how to speak in debates (not always) and you never forget your friends! You spoil me so much though. :P

Abby, can't believe your wedding was yesterday (?). You're a hot, smart, adorable person. And I hope that I might be at least partially like you one day.

Larry, of course; I know that this man is truly honest, kind-hearted, and BIG, wisdom-wise!

Karla.... I love her sincerity and beautiful soul.

I think it is the other way around too: I find myself learning from young people as well. Not only from my son, but also young people on here. In particular those who have had hardship in all respects of life, but still stand strong.

One girl stands out and that is Rania, I know her life's story and she is by far the strongest young woman I have ever encountered. He he, you are on your way to become the next Maya Angelou, Nana, you power girl!!!! <3

I would have to choose 3 of my fellow members of the ravens haven.
(it is not easy picking others older than yourself when you are 36!!)
