I think the basic scheme should be Jack Daniels Brown

I like it, though I must express some concern over what such a color might encourage our younger generations to take part in (underage drinking could quickly become PnQ's greatest obstacle).

For those who missed it, a membr raised an important concern in the last thread about the state of the sites current color scheme. She felt (i think rightly so) that ti is depressing and makes peple sad. i'm' reposteing by post from earlier to recap:

"I'm seeing a lot of consensus here. Since this issue has been going on for so long, I think it should be moved to our top site priority. I don't want to speak for everyone, but I'd be willing to put the other issues like the site contest aside until this is figured out. Would anyone be willing to volunteer to help the mods draft a request to send Janis? He will want details, so maybe we should vote. I'll lay out a few options below: vote for the one that you'd like to see the most.

Option A: Keep everything the same.

There are more people whose color is JD#7 brown than the creepy pink of this site. My Jessica for one, after only 20 minutes in the sun in April & she's good for all summer.

I don't find the colors depressing, in any case... There might be some poetry due to the content that depresses me when I read it but that's another story.

I won't lie, the colour scheme of the website has been bothering me lately. Whenever I post a poem that I feel I've written well, I think "Why does it have to be up against this sh*t?"

Larry, the CONDOM. has a range of colours, depending on your perspective: synesthetic, actual, or PnQ?

PnQ deems it a hot pink as it is branded in the explicit section. If I were to make it a Misc poem (a category I consider more apt), it would be the familiar, fleshy Irish tone that I feel it deserves. I am considering this option. Would I get penalised for it?

Yes, that is a new concern. You should be able to nominate it. Why are we impairing peoples' freedoms? I say you should be able to nominate any poem all the time, no matter how old it is, no matter if it's plagiarized, no matter if you're nominating it for 5 months from now.

While they may be shocking, we should consider these points and look inside ourselves for the answers. Are we doing the right thing by putting limits on... anything? I don't know sometimes. I just don't know anymore, guys.

Finally someone mentions the lack of U in colour. It doesn't bother me nearly as much as when I read 'mom', then I really feel like a foreigner on this site.

As for the colour scheme, honestly I've never really paid attention but now it irritates me, thanks guys.
