whats your religon?

just wondering try to give a little decription of it and if your really into it like catholics and saying "oh my god" and stuff

im a Christian....Baptist to be exact

im a Chistian too... not sure wot denomination tho

I am Christian. I attend a spirit filled non-denominational church.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, laying on of hands, spiritual warfare & Jesus is Lord!!

N/A. I beleive more in sciences =)

I am a Christian-Methodist but I don't attend service.

i posted earlier that i was a baptist...which i am....but like tammy, i go to a non-denominational church as well.....

our pastor is classified as a southern baptist preacher though....but we have all different types....

but i also attend another baptist church sometimes.....

my mom grew up presbiterian (sp?).....but i dont consider myself that....i consider myself baptist!!!

just thought it share that with ya!!

i like the non-denominational church though....because different people with different views get to worship the same God together and share their ideas and all have alot of fun!!! its great!!

If your parents are one religion, that doesnt make you that religion, you shoudl follw whatever religion THAT YOU BELIEVE in. Your parents should NOT effect it, at all.

I totally agree with that. My father is a baptist minister. I was baptist most of my life. However, I never felt the spirit or presence of God when I went to a baptist church. Maybe this is just me, I mean no offense to anyone. I believe in speaking in tongues and my father freaks out on that one LOL... but I follow where the Spirit leads me. I know tongues are real. When I was 16, I walked out of a church when they were speaking in tongues...I thought they were CRAZY!! LOL... But I just didn't understand what was going on then. I thank God I know now. Anyway, my father doesn't try to change me & I don't try to change him. We believe a little different that's all. We still believe in the same God.

You probably do follow one school of thought...Then where would your beliefs stand? If you follow the prophet's ways then you are sunni. It is that simple.

As for Jesus, yes he existed, is he the son of God? I don't know, but I do thank him everyday for sacrificing himself so I can do the breathey in and out thing.

I lean toward Christianity but I don't think any one religion has hit the nail on the head just yet.

I am Reformed Baptist. We believe:

Jesus is the Son of God
Doctrines of Grace

We believe in more, but to tell the truth, I don't know many other religions, so I can't exactly say what's different about being Reformed Baptist.

ahh. People, you follow a reliegion, or you dont. Saying your christian, but knowing nothing about the religion, not praticing it, and never attending service, doesnt make you christian! I used to say I was christian because my parents were, well one fine day i relized, do I know anything about christianity? The answer my friend, was no. When I learned more about the religion, i relized, I didnt believe it, so I stopped saying that I was christian, and began using the term "Athiest". Godless. Please, do yourself a favor, if your saying your one religion, but know nothing about it, and dont practice it, stop saying that you are that religion!

I am a Christian at a Pentecostal Church which to me is my second home.....we speak in tongues, we get filled with the Holy Spirit and fall over, we get prophecied over and I LOVE IT!!! GO CHRISTIANITY!!! no one should ever be ashamed of what they believe in!
