I am interested in all the pagan and wiccan ways. It's interesting to see that there are other people out there who are as well.
I can't say that I am Wiccan or Pagan, but I do share many of their beleifs.

christian (due to parents choice of baptism) but i want to get involved with druids and stuff been looking like crazy for any groups near me can't find any. if anyone can give me a website or place to look into for goups or what not i'd love some pointers

  • VioletRaven

Yeah, I was baptised as well, sometimes I feel bad about not beleiving what my parents brought me up to, but they don't know all that much about me anyway.
I don't know much about groups and stuff, I've always been kind of a loner, but if you just want to learn more about the beleifs and things libraries often have books on the subject. Just be careful if your parents don't like you reading about other religions.

I have a close friend who's wiccan and I have dabbled in wiccan all my life...since like 2nd and 3rd grade for no apparent reason...then a year or two ago my parents found a book i was reading and i told my step-dad i was just reading it for fun and he told me to stay away from it and he thought mom used to practice it...well i laughed at that one. then a few months ago i was talking to my mom-like a serious talk about everything...and she told me i was "babtised" wiccan...then when i was talking to my friend he said they didn't baptize the "initiate" or something. but it's weird because i've always been really drawn to it and then she told me that-she said they had the 4 candles and the alter and they did the whole earth air fire water thing to me...and i just thought that was really cool. i'd like to find a group or something to get more into it but i haven't found any around here. oh well...that's my story...lol

  • Truest Lies

Okay, Kev, what exactly IS wiccan?

What are the beliefs, like, do they eat differently, do they light candles and do little dances...exactly what?

  • Krysten

well i can answer those questions, wicca is a very open religon it would be easer to tell you what its not than waht it is.......it is not evil, we do not worship satan, most dont belive in hell, no we dont eat differently, at least were not requried to. me i love meat my bf (also wiccan) is a veggie eater, so i mean look heres a book to check out that will help you more....teen witch by silver ravenwolf
or solitary witch by scott cunningham.......those are the first two i read.

  • VioletRaven

Don't mean to answer for somone else but the main rule for a Wiccan is "If it harms none do as you will", basically it means that you can't do anything that will hurt mentally or physcally anyone/thing. And this includes yourself, so wiccans don't self harm.

Ok so I haven't read ne books but i've done about 3 yrs of internet research

Wiccans do harm people (some do) but what ever you send out...magick, harm, peace, etc. should come back to you 3 times as powerful/strong. We worship a goddess and a god Goddess is the mother of God so basicly it comes to the whole chicken or egg thing there? Which came first because Goddess mates with God to rebirth God

SweetSuicide you can't force Jesus on people.
It's a personal decision they have to make. You will never lead anyone to Christ that way. Your best bet to lead someone to Him is to live your life right & let the love of Jesus work through you so all can see what he has done in your life. They may decide they want what you have going on.
Just don't try to push Him on people... It never works.

    Take care

i like druids more than wicca (no offense), because druids "do the right thing regardless of who it directly or indirectly harms including oneself." or atleast there supposed to.

Can someone just outline each of these religions, you know what they are about and stuff, the differences? I am curious, but you guys all know what you are talking about and I don't, therefore me asking. Thank you!

SweetSuicide, you really can not try and force Jesus upon anyone. If they do not want to believe and have a love for him, then leave it. Don't try and make them believe in him. And you shuld respect peoples religions.

  • HisAngel

I've been studying wicca for the past 2 years...

Everyone has their own views on what a religion is...i don't force mine on others and i don't like when people try to force their's on me....i am happy the way i am...i have no problem with people who are of a different religion to me...unlike some people who seem to dislike anyone who has anything to do with wicca/paganism/satanism

  • Allison

I've been interested in wicca for a while and want to start studying it. I have a couple of friends at school who are willing to study it to and we hope to form some kind of group.

    I got soul but i'm not a soldier...i do magick but i'm not a...em...witch.

Witchcraft is outdated in much the same way as most other old religions are...people are not the same....we understand much more of the world than we did in the time witchcraft was invented...and as such...our believe systems, even to something as fickle as magick..should be updated.

Quantum physics replacing pentagrams for example.

Well all you gota do is belive in him and know that he very real..and beliveing in him ..and anyone else who does yes will go to heaven..he died on the cross for ours sins so that we can ask for forgiveness.

  • Psymon

Jesus was a magician, he studied the natural laws of nature, which is how he could heal and perform the so-called miracles. Oh and by the way, Jesus is dead. To be a christain is to follow the word of christ not the word/rules of the R/C indoctrination. If you truly are a christian then give everything away, you'll find that Jesus said such a thing, if you believe that the bible is real rather than a tool to undermine free thought.
Yes I am pagan, I am a magician, but I ain't here to die for no-ones sins other than my own... oh and check out the beliefs of the Cathars in southern France... very interesting and thought provoking.
I worship nothing, and yet you guys who say you are christian gather before alters of gold etc... hmmm, bit of a contradiction there then, eh? What drives you to worship a cross, why not worship the electric chair or the gun, or any other form of torture/death?
Do you think that if christ came back right now he'd be pleased that you worship the very thing that is supposed to have killed him... god give me strength :-)))
