Rock vs. Rap

This is an ignorant question. It's just like Coke and Pepsi. Everyone has their personal preference. Being that all of you are part of a poetry site you know how it is to write from your heart. I think it sucks that you are degrading what comes from ones heart.

Jen...You need to listen to the right music. It's ashame that you say that. You've heard a few songs on the radio and are making a HUGE assumption. You can't judge ALL rap by the few songs you've heard. Hell, I've heard some pretty ridiculous rock songs but I still like it....as I understand that it's NOT all the same. Game a big "ganster" rapping about all kinds of things made a song about his baby that made me cry the first time I heard it! Literally....I boohooed...like a little baby. It definitely had meaning and it ran all through. Listen one more time...

I love it all....seperate and/or mixed. It's all art...neither one is more worthy than the other. That's like saying my poetry is better than yours.

Rock Definately is better. Go to my profile and read a poem called "poor poor music" I made. It's pretty much bashing Britney Spears, and 50 cent and all that, and praising people like Led Zeppelin and Kiss....

Classic Rock Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, Kiss... All ledgends who will forever rule....

i love rnb better than both of them. its not so "BITCH PLEASE". you know. gotta love most of the girl artists and some guys like mario and usher dont really talk bout that. i think everyone should learn to appreciate all genres of music..
