Rock vs. Rap

What do you guys think? Personally, I like rock songs more because, there's so many rappers popping up everywhere where I live, trying to be cool and it just completely ruined it for me...especially when my ex rapped a "love song" to serenade me last year...it was a sweet thought but, i prefered the time he sang 'Best in me' by Blue and 'Love walks in' (i think) by Van Halen.

So...Rock or Rap?

Rock all the way (unless ur an aussie and like a hip hop band called "Hilltop Hoods" they r the only decent hip hop/rap band/crew that r ok) but other than that, rock all the way.

A little bit of a toughy, Hmmm..I'd have to say Rock. All my favorite bands are Rock, I like a few rap songs but thats about it.

rock and rap both kick a55 but i think without a dought rock. the music just matches my attitude.

I think probably rock, there's alot more thought in the actual music, rather than just a heavy beat..then again I've loved rap for a long time...certain songs can really influence emotions..for instance eminem - run rabbit run - this song really riles me up...if someone's p*ssed me off and I just wanna sit and hate them, this song does the trick...I swear it gives me a mad adrenaline rush..the whole song he never takes a break...no choruses or anything, its just bang bang bang and its finished, and you're left fuming and frothing at the mouth..Anyway my point is, a good rap song is as good as a good rock song IMO

ima rocker, but i do listen to some rap. mostly what i dont like about rap is the lack of MUSIC. rock is about the music, not just the lyrics. idk tho, rap is good too. i like rock/rap even, some limp bizkit (chocolate starfish n all) and NERD. Peace

I love Rock. Punk Rock even. Simple Plan and Good Charlotte RULE! But I pretty much like EVERYTHING. Beatles are cool, Garth Brooks is good, LOVE Frank Sinatra....I even do like some rap, I'm an Eminem fan. I also love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Queen, Billy Joel, and The Rolling Stones. :-)
