Gay’s aren’t natural, there disgusting ?

i think it is interesting how paedophillia often gets brought up in topics of homosexuality. wot i'm about to say i most certainly don't agree with or condone but it is unfortuantly somthing that alot of people associate homosexual people with. i was just hearing my father the other day talk rudely about gay people and i asked him the question. why do you hate them so much? he simply replied... "most of them are paedophiles". i was appalled but it is a fact that alot of ignorant people out there believe this. i personally no people who have not 'come out of the closet' because of this sterotype. the truth is there are just as many hetrosexual people who are paedophiles too. (and i am not saying that people on here aren't aware of this, because i am sure or hoping you are) i just think that it's amazing how a topic like this always manages to bring this into discussion.

however i do strongly believe that if a rapist or paedophil kills himself i would not shed a tear. the world is much better off without them.

Hmm in my opinion homosexuality is not right for me...but each to their own, I have no right to judge whether I would like to or not...neither do your family members. You should be honest with them and then be completely honest with yourself and start living your life to the full instead of hiding who you really are...goodluck!!

When you were a little kid was there ever a time when you were bad at a sport or didn't like a type of food? Did your family stop loving you?
If your family loves you, which I know they do, they will except you for who you are, whether you like guys or girls and if you like curry or lasagna! Did that make sense?

what amazes me is that nobody has brought up the funny thing about the two relationships...Hetero and homosexual unions....while we find one disgusting, and chastise it with our religious convictions, we fail to realize that for the most part the Homosexual union last far longer than the heterosexual union, so what is that saying....hmmmmm

    ^ So true...

P.s. Sorry for the things I said earlier...

you mentioned the bible and what it says earlier, well i have a question for you,
what if you dont believe the bible?the bible is the thing used to 'explain' things way too much in society.people use the bible to explain other religions wrong-well if they dont believe in christianty than they dont believe the bible.plus, the bible contradicts itself in a way here.
god says homosexuality is a sin and for it we will go to hell but then it says we are FORGIVEN by the blood of jesus.
    how can you explain this?

^i just want to say that what you just said was kinda wrong there are two parts of the bible the old testament and the new different religions don’t use the bible the same way Jewish use the old book but other catholic religions use the new cos the Jewish don’t believe Jesus was there messiah but others do

Please correct me if I’m wrong

god says homosexuality is a sin and for it we will go to hell but then it says we are FORGIVEN by the blood of jesus.
    how can you explain this?

^ We are forgiven when we believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and ask forgiveness. And as long as we forgive others who have done wrong against us, God will always forgive.

I believe that if god made us and has a plan for us all, then why must people argue with it, why must they frown upon a gay person, why must they look down on a person who has different skin, why must people laugh or condemn fellow human beings. We are human and as humans, we are hypocrites that constantly contradict everything in the end. It should be a perfect world it could be a perfect world, but what runs our "flawed world today" is fear, and as long as there is fear there will be little hope for peace... I accept people for who they are, even though I do believe in my god and I do read the bible I am not going to let that book decide who I talk to or befriend, I think you should love your fellow person, accept them for who they are, as themselves, that one person and most of all accept the things that makes them individual, because that's who they are and thats who they'll ever be.

    peace out BIG HUGZxoxoxoxoxoxo

    but millsy~
what about other religions that dont believe in the bible at all is what im trying to get across.see, christians are so narrow minded, they try forcing christianity down peoples throats.now dont flip out on me, i do believe SOME of the christian faith, but i practice wicca as well and i find it funny that christians dont realize half the stuff they do is wrong by the bible and they dont make sense when they try to convert people or say one or another religion is wrong.
wicca doesnt believe in the bible, there is no set book cause it is a free religion, you believe and worship how you want but when we are persecuted by christians, you use the bible to explain why we are wrong...why would someone care what is written in a book they dont believe.its the same with homosexuallity.if the person who is homosexual and doesnt believe in the bible, its pointless to cram it down their throats.
do you get what i meant now?

    ^ I agree as well...

I've noticed latlery that there is a pattern (not on this fourm, but on other as well) with anti-gay comments and then those who strike the anti gay comments.

AG:Gays are unaturral because God doesn't say so!
PG: That's not true because being (insert religion) doesn't mean everyone believes in it!
(After a few comments about the anti gay post and how wrong it is)
AG: Gays are unatural because God doesn't say so!

    (Shakes head)
It's very sad on various fourms (not on this one, I think) that once they post the comment, it comes up again, and again, and AGAIN!

Finally, I also thought, if being gay is a sin, how does this cause harm to someone? I mean every sin that there is of the ten commandments is also in our basic life and laws. SO how does being gay cause trouble?

    Ok, I’m sorry
I guess I’m too young to understand all this I don’t even know my sexuality and I probably can’t help anyone so I don’t know why I even bother
    Sorry again

Not sure why religion has anything to do with sexuality. Maybe people how like to be an authority on things use it as an excuse to control others.

Millsy don't be in a rush. Just be honest to yourself and you will get where your going in your own time. Don't discount your comments, at your age your still making your mind up on many things. Which tends to mean your open minded - not something everyone can claim

I can't see how people can be that rude to someone who likes the same sex, that doesn't make someone different,(well i don't think),if you have feelings for someone you shoulden't be told that it's wrong, and theres nothing wrong with having two moms or two dads, and adoption is a very good idea anyways there are many kids in this world who would love to have a loving caring home. . .i hope one day you come out and say how you really feel,my good friend did it took her a long time but after her family realized it was her chocie not theres(but sadly that doesn't always happen). . .

  • ms.understood

^ i believe it stems from fear.most humans are truely, deathly afraid of what they dont understand.they dont see how we can find satisfaction in being with someone of the same sex.

I personally don't think god will hate someone and make them go to hell just because there gay. People can't control there feelings. course i may be proven wrong at this cuz i don't go to church, and im not gay lesbian or whatever. but i don't agree with that.

  • Alex Marlatt

I think homosexuals deserve to be treated fairly. I am not gay and I have nothing wrong with it. But others always bash it and I'm sitting there thinking "Why do you care whether he likes boys and she likes girls? It doesn't affect you in the slightest."

And as for people who say "God hates homos!". You're dumbasses and you just discredited your own religion. God is supposedly all loving. To say he hates or dislikes any humans or creatures is just an oxymoron. But I'm not Christian so maybe I'm missing something? Oh wait... I'm only missing the narrow dogmatic views of the most hypocritical religion ever. I'm going to stop there because I tend to start religious arguements...

though i am catholic and i should believe that gays go to hell. but my PERSO
NAL opinion counts a lot more then words in a book and stuff said by a priest.. and i really hate to sound that way but God shouldn't hate just because someone likes the same sex

"queer people exist in all societies over all racial groups going back to the beginning of time."

Well actually one cannot actually determine whether homosexuals existed since the dawn of time...I can say that they existed in many ancient civilizations but I cannot say that they existed since the dawn of time.

I think you have to look for evidence for that.

"Abnormalities, well yes we are different but then there are so many differences between humans."

It was an abnormality and was classed as such in last century under the classification of DSM. But now it is no longer classed as an abnormality but it is merely a life choice or a pre-determined attraction to one's own sex...(It means you're born with it)

I can say that we as a society need to embrace ourselves first then we can actually accept another fellow man. I mean many of these societies hate "male" homosexuality, especially when coming from the male hetrosexual sex, is because they think...

"Is he going to jump me or have my way with me"

Which is stupid but it's still prevalent in many areas of life. Another thing would be the whole notion of masculinity...Homosexuality somehow breaks the set traditions of what is male and female gender roles.

But I think one thing many people are quite fascinated and at the same time bothered with is whether "LGBT" have a standardized gender role...Who is the man and the woman in the relationship.

I believe that fear and ignorance seem to be rife when speaking about differences between people. That's where prejudice comes in. And when you actually see a family member speaking that way. Just know that's their ignorance talking...Nothing more!

Actually (to whoever the poster was before)... the bible doesn't say that you will burn for eternity in hell if you think bad thoughts... it does say that sins of the sexual nature are a sin against yourself and that it is the worst of all the sins.

I was brought up to think of homosexuality as being wrong. But I have since come to know and love many homosexuals and I realise that there is a lot more to the situation than one can judge from. Who are we to decide what is right and wrong? Who are we to point the finger and say what is normal and what is not normal?

We can form our own opinions and that is all we can do. But we cant make a factual statement that "homosexuality is WRONG!" or that homosexuals are "normal" - both sides are not being factual.

Both sides are fighting a fight that will never be won.

"Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter" its an old one I know you heard it.. I'm bisexual also and anyone who thinks I will rot in hell.. your probably right but not for my sexuality its because if your heaven I'm doing everything I can not to coexist with you... I already have to put up with your ignorance and hate on earth... but hey if your parents are homophobic tell them you think your gay and then introduce them to the person your dating.. that way they get it all at once...shock usually drowns hate... with a million and one thoughts you cant judge

This thread to me is a big trap. no one will agree but i will speak my point.

i am against homosexuality, i believe it is not right against God, or for you nonbelievers, against nature.

And to set the record straight, whoever says you're going to hell for being gay is gravely mistaken. where in the bible does it say that?

Being bi or gay is just another thing to be proud about, and i am straight, but people who are homophobic piss me off, i mean for a straight girl are we attracted to every guy we see, no. but with a lesbian or a gay straight people automatically assume that the lesbian or gay is attracted to them and everyone else they see, which is a loud of dung.i mean our society is only getting weaker by predudice, and it needs to stop, be queer, but most of all just be happy with who you are as a person!!!

  • Noir

    Lol...

I'm sorry but I find when someone tries to explain why homosexuality is wrong by using the bible makes me laugh...

Let's face it the bible was made by men who did not want anything to break the long set traditions of masculinity.

And from what I see, paedophilia and homosexuality breaks that tradition, and again masculinity is in crisis...So to speak!

Umm Ddavid...Isn't the whole point of the bible is to teach men and women to be honest with themselves and believe that Jesus is God...I mean I can argue that Christianity is flawed...But you my fumbling friend make it soooo easy...Ha Ha Ha...
