Is high maintenance the new word for bitchy? lol Most girls are catty with other females, especially if they feel like they have something to prove, as a rule guys are not like that, they just want to chill and have fun, drama for them is usually fun to watch not be involved in lol I always got along way better with the guys, except for the few true blue girlfriends I was lucky enough to aquire.

I agree Guys are easier to hang out with and be friends with no need to worry about being bitched or backstabbed about.

Most of my friends are all guys too and they're so much more fun to be with. I can't stand hanging around girls and I don't like how I act either when I'm with them. So I stick to guys.

It's funny but I think girls are high-maintainace because:

1) They're mother taught them so...
2) To keep the men in their toes, making them work hard to keep up with them. Thereby increasing productivity and ensuring a better life.

Oh Gosh I agree with TPAM. They are plastic form head to their feet with no toes!

And it's fun to not wear make-up. No worrying about refreshing or watever... I for one, never wear make-up as well.

I'd rather hang out with the guys. In fact one of my guy friends tells me stuff that he talks about with his guy friends and I think it's more fun.

Wow. not all girls are like that... I'm not, my girlfriend's not, my two best friends arent... and sopranos arent all that bad either!! I sing soprano and I personally think im one of the best people to hang out with because Im a good person. yeah, some girls are high maintenance, but I agree with TPAM, way to generalize.

Sopranos? I sin Soprano though my friend says I'm an alto but I have to pretend not to be in chorus. I'm not maintenanced thankfully, my few friends whoa re girls aren't, but I still prefer the boys.

Ha! This is unfortunate. I have awesome girl friends. No fights, no cattiness, minimal annoyances, and those are gotten over quickly. Guys are good too, though. : )

But, a lot of girls have that 'trait' and not so many men do.

I think being high maintence just depends on how you were raised and such, eh. I am, at times. But, my mom is, along with my grandma and aunts. So, it is how our parents raise us.

This guy I'm friends with, Brett. We dated, and I swear if someone ever tells me girls are more high maintence than men, I will pull my hair out of my head. There might be more girls that are like that, but I've NEVER met a girl as bad as him. :/

Obviously most of you are socializing with the wrong women. I have plenty of guy friends, but my amigas are just as chill. In fact, some of my guy friends like talking on the phone too much...talking too much in general. Overly concerned with appearance and junk, ha. Not all of them, but many. I try to hang out with chill people who are comfortable in their own skin, and love a little competition at times. I find these type of people in both genders. I used to be like most of you, but I learned to open my eyes.

^^^Right ok...I don't work in an academy but I've been in professional vocal choirs for about five years now...I think that's ridiculous. Maybe its just the uppity snobs at your academy, because its not like that everywhere else.
