skinny or curvy girls .....

but i think everyone feels under pressure at the moment to say curvy girls because of all the press

Normally I'd say curvy..... but Im head overheals in love and I couldn't care less what her body looks like. Shes pasty and geeky and if I have to travel half way around the world to win her heart I'm going to. After 33 years of disasters finally something feels right and I can always fatten her up later lol

You know, I really want to say curvy girls and actually I really DO like curvy girls better (because seeing rib cages through skin seriously makes me cringe) but truth be told I guess because of all the images I've been fed my whole life, I will always be inclined to like the skinny girls more. It reminds me of something I read once where two kindergarten classes were given a pretty teacher one day and a not so pretty teacher the next. They both gave the exact same lesson and treated the kids exactly the same, but at the end when asked which teacher they liked best, they all said they liked the one who was prettier the best.

Not to say that curvy is less pretty than skinny...it just reminded me of that.

Lol...i'm 5'1'...i'm prone to be mad curvy and on the verge of fat but i'm not, i have D's, a lil stomach, and tony love handles and i love it and so do other people. i think its hot to be curvy, theres more to touch

Ive got a lot of male friends and all of them love girls with at least some curves. i dont know any that go for the really skinny girls.
it is hot to be curvy. i wouldnt feel sexy without curves.

It sometimes depends on the girl. But a girl with curves in the right places makes it all better.

I'm dateing a girl right now that has some curves, I believe u can love someone for who they are.

Well lets see; i used to be big when i went through my 'akward phase' from 8-12...i'm talking 100 lbs at 9 years old, and my dad didn't make it any better by ridiculing me. when i was 12 ish i started sports and lost a little weight, and i loved it so much that i developed and eating disorder. a year and a half ago from now i was 105 lbs at 5'0", which may seem OK

it may sound OK but it's not for my body type, i'd gone from 130-ish to 105 in less than three or four months and it fluxuated, i should be at the least 113 lbs. the year 2006 was my biggest ED battle year, but so far in 2007 ive had it under control and i like my body for the most part, im about 120 and im proud of my curves and my hourglass shape. i mean with swimsuit season coming up i'd like to lose like 2 or 3 pounds but chances are im not gonna, and that's fine by me because ive learned to appreciate my body.
i heard a celeb quote once that said 'I can do 1000 crunches but i always have a tummy pouch, and so now i realize, women's bodies are made to carry babies, and that's just how it is'

i have 'child-bearing hips', and while im not planning on bearing any children anytime soon, i like them... [and i know im not the only one lol]

Well for me it doesn't matter as long as it suits her. my ex-gf was skinny but curvy and it suits her well. (She's not that tall)

Lol, coke bottle, thats how my friend is and for her its not to flattering, but if i was a guy i would want a girl like myself, b cuz i am not fat, nor extremem skinny, i have curves, d's and i am very shapley and i think thats how a woman should look

Well, to be honest, it doesn't really matter to me....

But if I had a choice, it'd be curvy. Voluptuous girls are the sexiest kind. Mmmmhmmm.

I got my figure from my nan, skinny but with curves.
I just wish my boobs were bigger but their right for my size (booo!) lol

I've got a bit of fat on me so I'll have to go with curvy;) Lol really I can't stand skinny chicks (no offence anyone) they look ill and resemble walking corpses *cough* models *cough*. I've got a really, really skinny mum and she gives the worse hugs. Before my nan took ill she was great for hugs, all soft and cuddly. That's how mum's should be.

Wow... NObody has said that the prefer straight-up skinny girls. That's pretty interesting.

I don't think a "type" is beautiful - I think individuals are beautiful. My best friend in the world has always been a twig, and she's completely lovely. She even tries to gain weight, but doesn't. Some people think she looks too skinny, but she seriously does have her own kind of natural beauty.

On the other hand, I have another good friend who's all curves. Chest, butt, tummy and all. And she's gorgeous, simply put. More than curvy or skinny, I think people who are comfortable in whatever skin they've been given have a kind of beauty that is impossible to manufacture or replicate.

Straight up skinny girls can be i'll put this nicely. Gross. They don't look healthy. I don't look at girls often unless I know them personly. mAny guys do like girls they can't break if they hug them. Oo At least that's what I look for in guys.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I myself am not too fragile-looking, I have to say. But I just want to point out that, just as people with more body fat might not be able to help it, neither can some people with less.

Everyone has their preference, of course, but when it comes down to it, a person's beauty does not have everything to do with body. Which... I'm sure not many people would argue with : )

I say it doesnt matter. Whatever skin you are in does not change who you are. If your true love was beautifull and somehow with magic (hypothically) was placed into another body, and ugly one, would you stick with the person placed in their body, or stay with your love that was transfered into the other body? think about it. The body is just bate to reel people in. if you are conscious about it find a person that is just as conscious of their body as you are of your own.

Yes I agree with you. People can't help them self if they have more curves then other but then again then can. But most girls want themselves skinny because they think that's what a guy looks for. And that's not always true.

Fat is what guys want? I didn't believe that until this year.. I always thought that guys wanted really skinny girls but this year some guys were messing with me in class and actually said I needed a little bit more meat on me.

I'm skinny, but you like, can't see my bones or anything O.o and no.. I don't scatter into a million pieces when somebody hugs me because a lot of people hug me everyday. I guess I'm just petite. I do have some curves though, not very noticeble unless you get me into a bikini or something. =) I hope that's good lol.

I don't want to get into sizes, but I know that my girlfriend is beyond what most dumbassed people would call small...and I think that she is drop-dead gorgeous.

The worst part is that she's not entirely comfortable with herself.... it saddens me to think that society hurts her and makes her feel inadequate.
