Pet Peeves

What are some of your pet peeves? Im just curious to see the many different things that bug many different people. I'll post what my pet peeves are after some of you post yours.

Hearing people eat loudly, i cant stand it, like seriously

* When people type "lyk dis", or write 'you' as 'u' or 'why' as 'y', especially on message boards. I'm not bothered if they do that in texts, or even maybe if they do it on MSN, but seeing it on forums just pisses me off.

* When I'm out shopping, I hate being stuck behind people who walk so incredibly slowly. It's okay if it's elderly people or people who need to walk slowly, but when people think it's okay to just dillydally when people are trying to get in front of you, it annoys the hell out of me.

* When I'm a work I serve customers all day. I hate it when some customers come in with young children and let them run riot around the place. They can easily hurt themselves, or somebody else, or they could pick up something and open it (which a little boy did one time). There's also a busy road right outside which they could easily get out to. It's like, dude, your kid just ran out the door, mind going to get them?!

* When people end a sentence with 'but'. For example, someone might say, "I wanted to go, but." instead of, "But I wanted to go." Argh.

* Lying. I don't like lying, unless it will specifically be in the best interest of all people involved.

* People in class who just constantly talk and put me off my work. If they aren't going to pay attention, what's the point in taking the class?

* When people instantly get defensive because they think sarcasm is seriousness.

* People who are disrespectful and who apparently don't know the meaning of 'manners'.

oh my gosh yes!!!! my sister does it all the time to text me, she puts dis, dat, da, etc., I told her if she doesn't quit i will hurt her extremely.

- when people stare or zone out.
- when you talk to somebody and they change the subject.
- when people talk about other people behind their backs, and are nice to people to their faces.
- hypocrites. (say one thing, do another)

Spitting... people who think intellectual conversation consist of a call from prison that is collect... people who ask for your last cig... knowing its your last... lots of things

When a person is walking very slowly in front of me in the halls at school, and then just randomly stops with no warning.

People who talk about their problems and exaggerate them because they want to be pitied.

I hate people who lie to my face and i know they are lieing.. I can not stand that.. Its very annoying.

also i have long hair and i HATE when people pick the hair that gets on my clothes off of me.. i know its weird but i cant stand it.. i dont like people coming up to me and touching me.. it annoys me.

Ok My turn I guess...but first, sorry if this is the 100th posting of a thread about pet peeves, I had no idea.

-People who speak like they are from somplace else but dont use the accent, for example: when someone from Utah speaks with their western accent but say "Yo dawg, wuz up?!" Yea, that drives me up a wall and back!

-When someone deals with life stupidly and then beg for pitty. Yes, that bugs me to death!

-When people try to get me to tell them something personal about me.

-When someone is terribly unfair and when teachers choose favorites (even if by luck I get to be the teachers favorite, it still bugs me).

-It bugs me all the time when someone signs in on MSN five times within five minutes.

-When people dont wait for me to answer their questions. It drives me insane when someone asks me a question and doesnt give me time to think about the answer. Its like no one is patient anymore.

-Dirty people...meaning people who dont ever shower because they are too lazy.

-People who swear everother word, example: "BLEEP! This BLEEP report is BLEEP!"

-Bad grammar. Bad pronunciations.

-People who pitty me more than is necessary. Yes, my life does suck more than most, but I do NOT need constant pitty. If I need care, I will let you know...dont worry.

-Caulky people.

If I have more, I'll post them.

My pet peeves are mostly:

1. people who say they don't talk trash and then turn around and talk trash
2. people who cuss constantly
3. people who judge others right away
4. or starters

Stupidity. I hate stupidity.

We don't get on well :|.

I really hate repeating myself, i hate when ur watching a film, and then some turd is munching a packet of crisps.

When people burp, when people count on their fingers, and when people feel the need to volunteer to read in school even when they're one of the slowest readers in the class.

I despise it when people think that Germans are all Nazis because of a crazy little Austrian man's actions in the 1930's and 40's.

I hate people who compare the current U.S. government to the German government in WW2. Trust me people... it's no where NEAR being fascist.

People who try to act stupid all the time.

People who are hypocritical.

- when people blow their nose at the table, while your eating... thats so gross

- when people can't keep eye contact

- people who act stupid for attention

- when people touch their hair every 2 seconds

- when i let someone borrow a pencil and they never give it back

- people who take pics of anything and everything

My pet peeves

* It drives me nuts to hear people smacking their lips when they eat! Why can't they chew with their mouth closed? I don't want to see their food being digested!

* I get really annoyed at people who never take blame for their faults. Like if me and another person were to bump into each other I would say sorry, but then they think they are like all that or something and will pop off a comment like "EXCUSE YOU! DANG!". Then they walk off rolling their eyes! UGHH...

* I hate grammar errors, even though I make plenty of them. LOL. I am a grammar freak when it comes to other people's writing.

* And a pet peeve for this website is: When people will give you a bad rating for a poem but not comment your poem explaining why. That ticks me off right there.
