Bogyphobia

WARNING: This is a Terror Core poem. The contents of this poem are not meant for the weak of heart or mind.

Bogyphobia is the fear of Bogeys or the bogeyman.

Oh boy, it's that time again,
An obstacle I can't beat, a challenge I can't win,
It's come to the point where sweat now rolls from my chin.

I'm a grown adult so when will this fear end,
I hear him calling just around the bend.
Night slowly creeping as I crawl into the bed,
Suddenly an intense feeling surrounds me in dread,
Constantly thinking to myself that it's all in my head.

I tuck myself in and give my teddy a hug,
Teddy quickly turned into a grotesque bug.
The room quickly filled gas and smog,
Laying on a bed of thick black fog.
I gotta fight this but, I don't know if I can,
Instead I'm crying in the corner out of fear of the Bogeyman!
