You said "Hey" I said "hi",
Who would've ever knew
That a few simple words,
Would make me end up hating you.
You said "Take a walk?" and I said "Sure"
You knew what you were going to do,
When i said "No" you said "Yes"
I tried to push away from you.
You grabbed my arm and shoved me back,
laughed as i fell to the ground
I tried to escape but you held me down,
I screamed, which made you frown.
You lash out
and i bite back rude remarks,
Trying not to make it worse,
Did you have fun doing what you did to me?
You made my life a curse.
I wanted out, i really did,
I had gone through this before
When i tell someone that I'm okay,
They ask me "Are you sure?"
I say yes and whisper no,
If only they had known,
What am i supposed to do now?
The effects of my abuse have clearly shown.
Everyone wants me to be okay,
But can I, will I ever?
I feel like I'm on a trapped floor,
and your the one who pulled the lever.
