Blindness of Time

by DarkLight   Jul 26, 2016

I hide behind words
hoping to evade the brokenness mounting in my heart,
for long it felt purely nice
but can't hold on any longer.
Have realized that it's okay to mourn those gone before me,
but one can not achieve the point of healing if doesn't push through towards acceptance and letting go the past allowing a room for much more memories.
Moving on is a process,
one that requires commitment and giving it all,
and so I will allow in the pain,
to face my demons head on.
It's never late to find your way to the good values,
never late to find true happiness.
They say only time can heal,
they lied.
I lay my pen to rest,
my paper I push them on to the shelves,
for if there is anything worth sacrificing my words for,
is worth taking time to perceive.
