Whose God

by Bill Turner   Oct 6, 2008

You are weak...
A poor excuse for a God
All my life I have challenged you...
No, dared you, called you out...
Yet you leave me alone
I am a marked man...scared by life
Tattooed so you can find me amongst the masses
Why?
It is time to stand and deliver...
Face my wrath...
No longer let me turn it in...
Come and get me
No longer leave me to my vices
Smite me with your power, set me free
I am weary...tired of the demons that haunt me
Benevolent, I think not...
Else I would be gone...
You are wrong...

This reminded me of the part in "footprints" that said when you only saw one set of footprints that is when I carried you...I believe he is with you, as your friends here are. An excellent poem, that many people do not have the guts to write.

I read this yesterday and had to wait till today to comment. This broke my heart. You were there for me when I needed someone. I'm here for you always.....You are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love you
