I took a chance
Like a damn fool
Jumping ahead too many spaces
Ignoring all rules

Not thinking forward
And about others around
In conclusion I lost
And was kicked on the ground

I went from having it all
To not a dam thing to my name
Looking in the past
Hanging my head in shame

I thought I was being sneaky
And I could get away with it all
But like an idiot
Everything came to a final fall

Now I sit in self-pity
With no where to go
Tears falling from my eyes
With nothing to show

I played the game
But not all too well
Thinking id get away with it
But god did someone tell

I tried to pick up the pieces
But they cracked in my hands
Digging myself deeper and deeper
Getting more into a jam

I cried for hours at a time
But the tears did wash away the truth
Karma bit me in the a**
Because I betrayed you..
