The Diary Of Tears ( Two )

by ADEL   Feb 27, 2010

In the sake of morning and the flavored taste of dawn,

I woke to robe my soul with the garment of humbleness and pride

And walked my feet over this hateful universe with steps of softness and romantic treads

And gathered I the precious flowers I have seeded in the garden of my heart

But when I reached the crowd, people sought me not

And passed me with derision on their lips and lewd laughter in their eyes

Then I landed the flowers of my heart at the corners of being

And left my robe heedlessly upon the graves of care

And again walked I through the crowd resembling the look of their eyes

And the countenance of their faces

But again people heeded me not and passed me with derision on their lips

And lewd laughter in their eyes

Therefor I got me back where my robe and my flowers I found were torn

And thrown over the birth of hate.
