Glitter Pixie Dove

Often times, a thought can wonder
along the corridors of my mind
leaving trails of tears to ponder
in my past, choosing to be blind.

Awakened did I a few years back
deciding to live in happiness, not fear
a few cuts and bruises, confidence lack
twas I, a confused little deer.

You came to me on a cold day in winter
smile as warm as a tangerine sun
kissing my soul under the cemetery timber
confessing our love, soon becoming one.

In rhyme or in verse, these words I express
these eyes shall kiss your heart in love
I fell in love with you that very first day, I confess
sincerely yours, "Your glitter pixie Dove"....
