Storm Above Our Heads

by sibyllene   Mar 20, 2012

We stood under the deck
in the dark watching
rain roll in over
the river.
Drops tripped through the
cracks and we giggled and shivered,
and shimmied close, bodies
circled like whirlwinds.
I kissed your neck. It was hot
and smoke curled into my lips and
and your hair smelled just like the rain.

I don't know. I just feel she is way more creative. I just dislike it.

I thought this was a really neat poem. I liked the metaphors you put here. It really brought the imagery to life. Nice write. :)
