Day After Turkey

by Maple Tree   Nov 23, 2012

It lingers in the fridge,
covered in gravy
waiting to "thud"
in the pit of my
stomach,

one more time-

The thought of
eating another bite
has left me nibbling
on carrots dipped
in cloud like teardrops,
so that I may float
and fly away,
releasing my soul
from the Turkey's
demonic possession...

I've just envisioned you making the "I'm stuffed" face...
Its easier to say I'm full than face the big bird again lol

    Made me giggle :)

I hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving and break with your family xx
