Sirens' Song

The captain kept hearing a beautiful yet disturbing sound,
he steered the grand ship straight for the enchanting music,
hoping for a helpless damsel in distress that could be shipwrecked,
navigating through through a few ten foot swerves following the song.

Crew members yelling off the bow to see if someone was in the water,
with no prevailing answers; only the sound of beautiful voices singing,
such an enchanting sound that seemed to have the whole crew hypnotized,
pulling them into the sand bar with some horrifying cracks from the old wood.

Following the voices even after the ship had been wrecked by the rocks,
pulled into the arms of mysterious winged women who had led them there,
so many have fallen into this same trap where the shore is lined with plenty more,
skeletons and ships galore; the sirens' song is a deadly call for sailors of ole.
