Stay

by X Harlea X   Nov 25, 2013

I miss the taste of your lips,
how they felt against mine.
How you'd come home for a long trip,
the way our bodies would combine.

No matter how the day went
we'd give it a better ending.
You was always so content.
Too bad my love wasn't what you was fending.

You left me with my heart bleeding,
with a fear that every man would betray me.
But I still have this unrelenting needing,
the undeniable urge to beg you to come back and stay.

I'd sell my soul if only I could
have you right here for forever.
You was the one who always understood.
But that just isn't what you'll endeavor.
