80 mm of Love

by John Doe   Apr 28, 2015

Wandering again in this paradise of pain,
howling again,crying in vain.
Searching for the shadow of sun,
in this desert of mirrors where do I run?

In the dead of this night,
where do I find that light?
Which I followed so ardently!
which escaped me so violently!

I fall,I bruise,I cut myself,
yet I run to find myself.
To find a place up and above,
where I could find my 80 mm of love.

The love of my life, dressed in white,
a silent glow against that violent light.
And an aroma that pulls me in,
yes,it's love,love full of sins.

And a lover, who burns away so slow,
you may wonder where did she go!
Why then, she rose with the smoke,
or fell away with your gentle strokes.

She's the mistress you wish you had,
oh my lovely cigarette why are you so bad??

    I love the first line.
Never expected the ending to be like that. Good rhyme and a smooth flow.

Is that truly love? Something to ponder about... When is love an obsession? Rather could one say tht love is an addiction? Or that an obsession and addictions aren't truly love but one can mistaken them and think that are? I enjoyed the read.

I have to laugh badly at this I didn't expect the ending whatsoever. I was thinking of something else when I read this and the end was an eye opener.
