We Gather in Peace

by Maple Tree   Dec 3, 2015

We gather together at a little virtual coffee shop down the road...

After we share life's views
feast upon spiritual food,
unite within a peaceful ending
to our meeting, we exit as friends do..

One retreats in prayer,
the other to her organ,
where she spreads gospel within music.

The third, she speaks of her love of her Lord
to strangers, touching hearts wherever she goes.

and I; I gather under a full moon,
lighting candles for all three.

We walk on different paths
and yet we gather together as
one unity..

I'm a witch, loved by her christian friends-

Society chooses to label us...
but we greet in love
we have no differences-

we just have each other.

Just as friendship should be ... love this ... now if the rest of the world would be this way, it'd be a beautiful thing!

This is what I call true friendship. Something that does not come by easy.It takes honesty and respect to get to that point. Building a strong foundation. A true friend knows everything about you and loves you no matter what. Three people living different lives, however find the time to gather together to share their even darkest moments. One for all and all for one. This really touched my heart
