Raeleionha Roxanne Rosetta

by Dancing Rivers   Dec 8, 2015

One in the same you stand together
hearts as cold as leather
beating at arctic caps bleeding ice
they want you to try to play nice
the damn fools
they don't realize you make the rules.

Raeleionha Roxanne Rosetta
you twisted Cinderella
wearing an ashen slipper drenched in his blood
red as a newly red rose bud
you despise their inconsistent games
you wish to un-carve their names.

From the books of life and death
you crave the taste of their last breath.

Relish in their pain you demon of the night
a lady in daylight's shallow naive eyes.
You howl at distant stars
wondering just how far
you have to traverse this barren land
to taste the pain of every man.

They see your little lamb face
and in a manner of obedient disgrace
they bow to your every call
and whisper nothings through the wall
of hatred you've built up against it all.

You struggle through the facade of innocence
wondering if it would make a difference
if they would even dare enough to see
the demon you've always been.

But soft what blood through yonder heart seeps
as willows weep and skeletons creep
out to the darkness of the night
hiding among the sheep-in plain sight
you mock their naivete smiles
do they really think had you for even a while...

...Raeleionha Roxanne Rosetta...

    Hazel,

Your use of description and language in this is superb - this really is a rich piece of writing that I got completely lost in.

Damn you, woman, you have made it so I have no nominations left - and it's only Tuesday!
