To Block or Not to Block

by The Collaborators   Jul 1, 2016

The next time you're blocked,
it's in all facets of life:
from the doors that are locked
to the heart-sink of strife.
Not a whisper emitted
through this knocked-down wall,
nor the beating of hearts
from one or from all.
Sadness may come
though my joy shall prevail.
I will maintain strength
and my heart shall set sail
far away from these lands
tamed by terror, not light
... for the next time you're blocked?
You will be blocked for life.

Hello guys and congratulations on your first club post.

This is a joy to read as rhyming is never easy by yourself, let alone trying to weave it all together seamlessly with others. Keep them coming - great stuff.

Take care and all the best to all of you,
    Ben
