Dancer Encircling the Edge

by Larry Chamberlin   Jan 13, 2017

the piano plies chords plaintively;
she spells out past lives, past loves,
not sure which happened when
but here she sways dreamily above
traces of soft footsteps in the night.

    This sent shivers down my spine.. For some reason I imagined a lady trapped in limbo trying to dance her way back in her white overflowing dress..

    Well done, Em
