Im-purr-fections (a dedication to Kitty Kat Lady)

On tip-toe with no paws;
I quietly made my way along
Tin Pan alley.
The moon had guzzled; up dusk; drenching
Shadows; of lunar activity; creeping upon brick walls

I carried my bag of old bones; which rattled
my nerves; hoping not to ruffle any fur

As I walk; tenderly past a wooden fence
I stop to read a half torn poster...

Miss Kitty Kat..
..presents; ‘You had me at.’

I examined this piece carefully, so I thought.
However my monocle had seen better days,
worn out over the years

as,
I reached the end of this written piece
a sadness pumped through my heart
of a lady at the mercy of
one not so good.

Then..

..Emerging; from behind an old dustbin; a feline
presented herself, donning the finest; fur-lined
coat; eyes that twinkled with mischief; whiskers
that twitched with curiosity.

Her sophistication shimmering;
in the moonlight...

..she purred...

..the error of my ways,
twisting her tale around my
intelligence...

..whispering,
I fooled you with my tail;
as my story ends with ‘Meow’
not ‘mercy!

And so,
I left with mine; between my legs
as her evil laugh
echoing..

..victorious!

..Although resounding
