Can you hear the piano?
It echos my heart
Those mournful keys playing
Ripping me apart

Sharp intake of breath
The chord of my soul
The shuddering tears
The future you stole

So please just stop playing
I can't bear the sound
It pulls on my heartstrings
In my tears I'm drowned

The melody haunts me
It's so bittersweet
The notes of my pain
Played on your song sheet.

    This one is shorter than your regular ones but there is no compromise in terms of content.
