The Last Red Roses

by Lyn Aribaca   Aug 16, 2018

It’s always the best feeling
To give you red roses my darling

The heartbeats of mine when you are smiling
Was the most beautiful scenery to seen

When I see your eyes shining
Like a stars that brighten my night

And a sun on my day giving me light
Creating beauty all my life

It’s been seventy years but still loving the same.
To the twenty year old girl I chose to give this old ring

Love that never gets older but deeply grows
Falling out teeth was nothing because I love all your flaws

Now, I am giving you these three red roses
I know tears are falling on our both faces

I may not seeing you again around
But still, I’m holding this promise even you’re now on six feet under ground

I will always love you my darling
Till’ the last three roses to bring

I will always be the man in love my darling
Even the last three roses starts drying
