Father and Daughter

by Juls   Dec 12, 2005

As I get older
I mature
I grow up
I march to the beat
of my own drum
This doesn't mean
I grow distant of our love

Fathers and Daughter
Have a relationship
so unique

We might not talk
so much as I do
with my mother
We might fight
more than I
do with my brothers

When we put all
of this behind
and look at the
unique relationship
that we have

I know that
you are the one guy
I can turn to
with a blink of an eye

Despite our fights
all the evil words
we might of said
you are the one guy
I can turn to
these past 16 years

No one at all
No matter how strong
Can break our bound
because...

You are my father
I am your daughter
I love you with all my heart
