A Stranger Of Desire

by HJ   Dec 21, 2005

As I lay within my truth, capturing thought.
Butterflies flutter above like confetti.
Skies connect us with unwilling sympathy.

Uninvited the thought of you stays with me.
What I am to you is not real.
No hero in the midnight sky to feel.

I hear your voice along the winds whisper.
Waiting for a single star to fall.
A wanting, the only thing I recall.

I learn to feel what I couldn't see.
I will not cry for yesterday.
Survival the only way.

You come into my dreams each night.
Peaceful, soft air above.
Wrapping you in my love.

You are like a touchable dream, piercing the air.
Trying so hard to catch your heart.
Knowing your name, would be a start.
