Wild Flower

by Juls   Jan 4, 2006

Wilted roses
unstemmed daises
dead red lilies all lay in the pasture
they all seem to be kicked flowers

Baby breaths scattered
Pansies all a disaster
Black-eyed Susan's are now
Black-hearted misfortunes

Blue Phlox has erupted
Our love now disturbed
Our passion flower
is now a violent hail storm

Love has wilted
along with the flowers
We lay in the pastures
with no words spoken

It was time for love
to exit our bodies
For our paths in life
should be rechosen

For our love to weak
to move on any farther
We will live without each other
from this moment forward
