Quixotic Desire (Collaboration)

by HOLLY ARMER   Mar 26, 2006

Mimicking your every move
Walking along the walls
Shifting shapes to better suit
Your constant eclipsing form

Forever possessed in darkness
A figure no longer my own
Never feeling the fervid warmth
Or light of a resplendent sun

Caught in a soulless moment
That was made only for two
Unable to completely fathom
The perfection of his touch

Longing to have his hands
Gently caressing my face
To feel the fire ignite with
The meeting of our eyes

Shadowed for eternity by her
Never to experience your love
Existing by the grace of light
Mimicking her every move

*This is a collaboration poem written with Satin. It was amazing to work with her, she's awesome.
