Between the lines

by Elynnka   Apr 27, 2006

Watching as the birds fly by
Hiding in the endless sky,
Instilling ideas
That we can really be us -
Emotive like we are, bearing no scar.

Contemplating upon reasons why
All the trying seems to die,
Narrowed by preconceptions,
Various perceptions
And other debates that
Shallow our path.

Sickened by all this lying,
Tired of endless crying
About useless strife -
In denial of your own life.
Nothing seems to really be
Enraging for life's not a tragedy
Dragging us down, but meant to makes us frown.

Waiting, forgotten in the darker past,
Inflicted with hate that's not meant to last,
Time seems to go with the flow -
Hiding things that are not meant for us to know.

Rid yourself of all this disbelief
Erase your mask and feel relief -
Doubt must go away, so you can cease each day.
