I have been mourning for too long
These tears must wipe away.
Getting back on my feet
To face the light of day.

This grief is a burden.
Its a dark and heavy cloud
Now its time for a clear sky
I have to make him proud.

We have to spread the news of him.
Tell the animals we care
Believe in conservation
Coz Steve is always there.

The mighty man of khaki,
The Crikey man we lost.
We will push for the wild life.
And fight whatever the cost.

Lets make Steve proud
Make his dream come true
The fate of the animals
Rests with me and you.

*I dedicate this poem in the memory of a great Australian, Steve Irwin. Steve, you were my inspiration and I will never let your memory die*

    Great poem and I too will miss Steve he was a great man he will be missed by alot of ppl he touched alot of hearts.
