Defining Love

by Misstress   Oct 2, 2006

Here I am again
Finding myself staying up all night
Defining a crochet of words
Curled in the tendrils of my tongue.

Got all the rhythm and rhymes
In verses and arrays
Of hard to find words.

Only to find out that it would
C o l l a p s e
At the slightest sound of your name
Tickling my ear, my heart.

So I just left my heart
Crooning at these empty pages
Letting it float...

Hoping by chance
By destiny perhaps...

You would notice it

    I love this poem:

    Here I am again
Finding myself staying up all night
    Defining a crochet of words
Curled in the tendrils of my tongue.

Many a night I've laid awake with words on my tongue.....

    Very well done!
