Innocence

by Ariana   Nov 15, 2006

Innocence

soft skin, bright eyes,
a wide smile - and wispy hair.
No teeth, just a mouthy grin
filling you with love within.

So sweet and believing...
So naive and forgiving...

Sheltered from a world,
thats divided by hate.
Living a fantasy life -
with princesses and fairies.

Please -
don't let this child,
lose his innocence, too soon.

I love this... it brings back the thoughts i have about life "when did life get so complicated?".... and you just help me answer that question.... when we loose our innocence
