A Flawless Beauty

by ABake   Jan 10, 2007

I'm happy with myself so why can't you be?
Why is it only the flaws and imperfections that you see?

You think that your ugly, you think that your fat.
Why is it that you think all of that?

You think that your to stupid, you think your to tall.
When in reality, your nothing of that at all.

You think no one likes you.
When you know that is not true.

I hate that you put yourself down.
On your face I'd like to see a beautiful smile, not a depressing frown.

Maybe if you were happy, you would actually see.
That what lies below all the imperfections, is a flawless beauty.

Instead of concentrating on the bad, try and think of some good.
Do that for me, I wish you would.

Your not stupid nor fat.
I really wish you wouldn't say all of that.

I know your not ugly, I know your not to tall.
Your none of the negative at all.

One day hopefully, you will look in the mirror and see what I see.

A flawless beauty.
