Dissapearing

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 2, 2016

The thing with writing
sad poems is, that one
always seem to call
another one.
Like one negative thought,
spans across a room
and that's how it begins

for the fifth time,
in these last five weeks
I've thrown all the sugar
out of the house
I've gulped down
endless cups of
green tea
while staring
at that yoga mat

I'm trying to convince
myself, that if I try
hard enough
they'll be no other option
but to get where I want to be

I am doing it right, right?
this is how it starts
with one decision
that calls for another
until you take less space
and become more visible

    Ohhhh dear Yaki.

This is beautiful. Hurt ping-ponging like nasty words tossed and bouncing right back to you. I loved every ounce of this.
