Dear God

by Jodie Phillips   Feb 18, 2008

Out of all the people
You could have picked that day,
Why did you have to take Sam away?

A question I ask myself everyday.

It's just so unfair
She is no longer here,
When you see all the weirdos
Still living out there.

I don't wish death upon anyone
I'm just not that cruel
But to leave them and take her
Makes no sense at all.

You must of seen
She belonged here with us,
You must of known
She didn't want to leave in such a rush.

As a believer in fate
Of which you decide,
We don't always get to chose
When our lives will expire.

I'm not angry with you
Everyone has lost a family member or friend,
But please listen carefully
To this message i send.

You already have Sam
She is worth all of us,
If you need anyone else before their time
Please pick me, not anyone else i love.
