A Game for Fools

by SweeT pOisOn   Feb 18, 2008

After all the devotion you promised me,
After all the expectations you gave to me,
All the pain that was so clear,
Swiftly nursed back to health, and became nothing real.

I thought your heart was pure,
I thought your presence would be my cure,
I thought your touch would heal,
I thought you would on my secret, seal.

At that moment, I saw you around her,
Which I imagined was to my eyes just a blur,
She was cheery there with bliss,
While I was howling here with emptiness.

I cannot judge what love has prepared for me,
Passionate and affectionate, then fooling me,
Even though I granted to play with all the rules,
I now believe that all players are fools.

Who falls in love and then regrets,
Who fears the touch with respect,
Who believes and never deceives,
Who always gives and dozent wait a receive,

Is someone, to this game very loyal,
Treating the players as if they were royal,
And who starts the game has to continue,
At the end, survivors are just a few!
